TWO STABBED IN PARKING LOT

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

On  Wednesday, August 8, 2012, MOBILE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE was called to the scene of a possible stabbing.   Deputies arrived on the scene to find Two male subjects lying in the parking lot of the New Horizon’s Credit Union.  The incident began when two people approached a man preaching in the SEMMES WALMART parking lot.  JESSIE ALLEN REID threatened the preacher with a handgun, ordering him to stop preaching.   Words were exchanged and a bystander KENNETH CUSHMAN (victim) attempted to intervene.  SANDRA JOY JARMAN, who was with REID, stabbed CUSHMAN (victim) multiple times in the back.  Another bystander, STEVEN STUART (victim) attempted to assist and was also stabbed in the back.  The suspects fled the scene and were later apprehended by MCSO patrol units.

MOBILE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE arrested JESSIE ALLEN REID, SANDRA JOY JARMAN and A SIXTEEN YEAR OLD JUVENILE (male).  The victims, CUSHMAN and STUART were taken to a local hospital to be treated for their wounds.  Case is pending further investigation.

Intelligence leads MCSO to high grade marijuana

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

On Wednesday, August 8, 2012, MOBILE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE executed a search warrant at 2908 Bryant Street, Whistler, Alabama, and found over 150 grams of high grade marijuana (Purp) with a street value of $3000.00.  MCSO arrested ARISTARCHUS DEMETRIUS CURTIS for Marijuana 1st and Use/possession of drug paraphernalia.  Deputies also discovered $1900.00 in cash at the residence during the search.  According to Undercover MCSO Deputies, CURTIS had been under surveillance for a while with their office.

The “Purp”, named for it’s purple color,  is a high grade, expensive, and very potent Marijuana brought in from California.  The street value would be around $350 to $400 an ounce.

MCSO arrest two people for trafficking heroin, more arrest to follow

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office has been conducting an undercover drug investigation on a group of people who have been suspected of trafficking heroin in Mobile.  On Friday, August 3, 2012, MCSO arrested VICTOR LAVELLE CURRIE and  CHRISTEE LEE MITCHELL for trafficking heroin.  Undercover MCSO deputies say the investigation is ongoing and there will be additional arrest to follow.    CURRIE and MITCHELL will both face a MANDATORY SENTENCE OF 25 YEARS.

MCSO needs your help in identifying two people using a stolen credit card

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Mobile County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help in identifying the two people, white male and white female, seen in the pictures below.  The two were caught on video at One Stop Quick Stop, Zeigler Blvd, attempting to use a stolen credit card.  They left in a silver 4 door sedan, possibly Oldsmobile Aurora.  The credit cards were stolen on July 29 and used that same day.

MCSO needs your help in identifying this man

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

 

 

On July 28, 2012, at approximately 1240a.m., two black males entered the Citgo Speedy Mart located at 11200 Dauphin Island Parkway Theodore, Alabama and robbed the cashier at gunpoint.
