At 0150 Hrs. the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office received a burglar alarm at Wilmer Grocery located at Moffett Rd. at Wilmer Rd.
Upon deputies arriving on the scene, a black Chevrolet truck occupied by several black males exited the business at a high rate of speed. The business had been rammed and the ATM had been taken. A pursuit ensued and the suspects lost control of the vehicle and wrecked out at Schillinger Road and Crary Station Rd.

It was determined that the vehicle the suspects were occupying was reported stolen out of Mobile Police Department.
Three black male subjects were apprehended by the patrol deputies. Two of the suspects were transported to USA Medical Center for treatment for minor injuries sustained in the crash.
The suspects confessed to burglarizing the business and taking the ATM.

They are identified as:
B/M Henderson Pippins DOB 11/20/1979
Cedric Yates B/M DOB 02/24/1979
Brandon Nobles B/M DOB 12/16/1985

All three subjects were charged with Burglary 3rd, Receiving Stolen Property 1st and Eluding Police.
It is believed that these suspects are responsible for similar recent incidents where ATM machines have been stolen from local businesses.
