As a part of the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office Meth Initiative, a countywide database of all pharmacies and stores that sell the medicines that contain ephedrine and pseudoephedrine has been established. Sheriff’s investigators have used the database to identify persons illegally purchasing these products for the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
The Meth Initiative, designed by the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, targets meth users and manufactures through three areas of focus: Enforcement, Compliance and Education.
To report Meth, text the word “meth” to 839863 (“textme”) or call 574-8633.
