On August 20, 2011 Mobile County Sheriff’s Office Deputies went to 10935 Kelsey Drive in Wilmer, Alabama to execute a warrant on KENNETH SIKES.

MCSO Deputies knocked on the door and MARGARET RAY SIKES answered and told the Deputies that her husband, KENNETH SIKES, was out of town working.  Deputies provided the search warrant to MARGARET RAYSIKES and began to search the residence.

After clearing the master bedroom, deputies opened the bathroom door and found KENNETH SIKES with several plastic bottles.  The bottles had bubbling liquid and plastic tubing through the lids.  MCSO deputies notified Narcotics.  Narcotics confirmed it to be a meth lab.  Also found beside the meth lab was a 357 revolver.

As Deputies continued to search the property, KENNETH SIKES, admitted that several items within the home as well as outside the home had been stolen.

Three children under the age of 10 where living in the home.  Two older children were there at the time of the arrest.  Mobile County Sheriff’s Office had received several calls about the children being in the neighborhood without any adult supervision.
