MCSO is looking for information about a copper theft

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

On September 10, 2012, a Manager with American Environmental Company contacted the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office stating their chain link fence had been cut and someone entered their property but nothing had been stolen.   MCSO acquired the security video of the property where it shows a subject walking through the property and into a neighboring business, SC STAGNER CONTRACTING.  MCSO contacted SC STAGNER and found that their fence was also cut and the person(s) forcibly entered trailers and other storage units and removed rolls of copper wire tubing and welding leads.  The copper has a combined value of $4,865.00.

A possible suspect was captured on the Security System at American Environmental Company.  If you or anyone you know has any knowledge about this crime, please contact MOBILE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE, 574-8633.
