FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

On August 15, 2011 Mobile County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle from Texas, at the intersection of County farm road and McDonald road on a traffic violation.  Deputies saw what appeared to be narcotics under the front passengers seat.  The driver, FRANK ABSTON, gave permission for Deputies to search his vehicle.  Deputies found 1.16 pounds of cocaine and additional 5 grams of cocaine inside a Black Crown Royal bag.
In addition to the driver FRANK ABSTON, there were two other passengers, WALTER LEE HODGES JR. and DARINESHA RAY who were also traveling in the car from Texas. 
FRANK ABSTON had over $33,000.00 in cash in his possession and WALTER LEE HODGES JR. had $1,680.00.  Both men where arrested and taken to Metro Jail and charged with trafficking cocaine.  DARNISHA RAY was not arrested.
As a result of the Investigations on ABSTON and HODGES, MCSO went to 11355 Moores Lane with a search warrant and arrested MICHAEL TRENELL WILLIAMS for trafficking cocaine.  
MCSO Deputies found ½ kilo of cocaine, a rifle, shotgun, and four pistols.  In addition to the guns and drugs deputies found over $7,000.00 in cash. The investigation is ongoing.
