MCSO arrest Montgomery Police Officer for Trafficking Marijuana

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Today, December 12, 2012, Mobile County Sheriff’s Office arrested LYVANH RASAVONG, former Montgomery Police Officer, for trafficking marijuana.

MCSO Narcotic Deputies were executing a search warrant at 7201 Murray Heights, Irvington, Alabama, and caught RASAVONG dropping off over 3 pounds of high-grade marijuana.  The average cost on the street for this marijuana would have been $3500.00 per pound.  RASAVONG admitted to trafficking across county lines from Montgomery.

MCSO Deputies say that RASAVONG is also associated with the marijuana bust the sheriff’s office had on October 19, 2012 in Chunchula, Alabama http://www.mobileso.com/press-release/anonymous-tip-leads-mcso-to-marijuana-farm-off-old-citronelle-highway/.
