On November 30, 2011, Mobile County Sheriff’s Office received an anonymous tip about a possible meth lab.

The anonymous tip was called into our North side Sub-station and immediately given to the MCSO Narcotic Deputies.

When MCSO Deputies arrived on the scene all three suspects tried to leave the residence.  They were all detained, two of the suspects ages 16 and 17 were taken to Metro jail and charged with Manufacturing 1st, while the 14 year old suspect was taken to Strickland Youth center.

Inside the residence Deputies found the shake and bake method that is often used to cook meth as well as pre- cursors such as; coffee filters, foil, Coleman fuel and other paraphernalia.

The Meth Initiative, designed by the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, targets meth users and manufactures through three areas of focus:  Enforcement, Compliance and Education.
