SUSPECT’S DESCRIPTION:  A WHITE/MALE, 40-50 years of age, over 200 lbs.,  brownish hair and beard (Beard has some Gray) pale looking face, over all dirty appearance, yellowish teeth,  wearing a black hat with two converging letter “C” (one red and the other white on a black background).  The victim noted the smell of alcoholic beverage and cigarette smoke from the cab area.  This subject has been seen on occasion in the company of another white male 30’s, who was the passenger.

 

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION:  1990-1993 White Chevrolet C1500 (Full Side Pickup Truck / Not an Extended Cab).  The following is a description given by witnesses;  dented and dirty with faded looking white paint with no clear coat sealer,  old dirty looking tires, gray primer patches on driver’s side of vehicle (driver’s door below door handle and on truck bed between front door and rear wheel), a dent on the passenger’s door, non-tinted windows, gray lettering in the lower corner of the rear window passenger’s side, tail gate in the down position, and a crack on the passenger side door window.  Interior was described as leather colored tan and gray with tape covering tears on the seats.  Beer bottles were seen on the seats, floorboard, and in the truck bed.  No tag information available at this time.

 

INCIDENT:  Suspect(s) were observed in the area of Opal Drive, Emerald East, Gem and Gold Drive (Mobile) attempting to get female children to get into the above described vehicle and leave.  Subjects have been seen generally during the after school hours from 2:30 pm until around 7:00 pm during the weekdays and weekends (Sunday).  Children are out at bus stops as early as 06:15 am on Emerald East at Gem and Gold Drive.  When approached by parents, these subjects have fled from the scene.

REGINALD ELLIOTT STEVENS in custody with Jackson County, Mississippi

 

REGINALD ELLIOTT STEVENS is in custody in Jackson County, MS.  He confessed to the Robbery of the Family Dollar on May, 6, 2012 and is awaiting extradition.  For information on this case, go to HOME PAGE, click on the NEWS, then click PRESS RELEASE, it is the post dated MAY 7.

MCSO is looking for A SUSPECT who tried to rob A FAMILY DOLLAR STORE on McCrary Road

 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Mobile County Sheriff’s Office is looking for REGINALD ELLIOTT STEVENS for questioning involving a robbery 1st at the FAMILY DOLLAR on McCrary Road that occurred on May 6, 2012.  The suspect in the Robbery was seen driving a GRAY MITSUBISHI GALANT (2B85S06). This vehicle is registered to REGINALD ELLIOTT STEVENS.  The description of the suspect given by witnesses on the scene matches that of REGINALD ELLIOTT STEVENS.  As the suspect demanded money from the clerk, he lifted his shirt exposing a black handled hand gun.  Nothing was taken during the Robbery due to the clerk advising that once she opened the cash register drawer, law enforcement would be there in less than a minute.  The suspect then fled the scene in the listed vehicle.

• 5’09” 170
• Last known address –  3220 Brynewood Rd. Theodore, AL.
• Warrant pending.

MCSO arrest PATRICK DEAN SMITH and Five others on various charges

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

 

On April 28,2012, Mobile County Sheriff’s Office received information that PATRICK DEAN SMITH was located at 10100 C.D. Glaze Drive Theodore, Al.  PATRICK SMITH was apprehended at this location without incident for Robbery 1st and Assault 2nd warrant.  The home owners of the residence on Glaze Drive, Dana Lynn and John Burquist, signed a consent to search for their residence.  During the search the Glock 9mm used during the robbery involving PATRICK DEAN SMITH was located.  Also found in the residence were two large trash bags full of  “Spice”, a stolen Mobile Fire Department portable radio, and a side scanning sonar system.  The radio was stolen from an auto burglary, and the sonar was stolen during a theft of an automobile.  Both of these incidents occurred the previous night and were in the same area.  Additional items found during the search warrant were;  a 22 caliber pistol , marijuana, prescription medication,  and a variety of drug paraphernalia.   MCSO arrested JACOB WEBER, JAMES EVERETT, PATRICK SMITH, JOHN PRIDGEN, JOHN BURGUIST, AND DANA LYNN.
