MOBILE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE is looking for TIMOTHY WILLIAM COBB.  A warrant was signed on COBB for  Domestic Violence First Degree.  On May 11, 2012, this suspect assaulted his brother in the head with a baseball bat resulting in severe head trauma.  The incident occurred at 15145 Vickies Lane Wilmer which is the subject’s father’s house.  MCSO has received information that the subject has been frequenting an unknown trailer park located off of Clifton Road in WilmerTIMOTHY COBB has been seen driving a red truck (Unknown make or model).  If anyone has any information about TIMOTHY COBB or his whereabouts, please contact MOBILE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE 574-8633.

The above listed subject is wanted by MOBILE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE  for questioning in reference to a Robbery First Degree case which occurred at the Circle K located at 7790 Moffett Road Semmes on May 14, 2012.  During the Robbery, the clerk was held up at knife point and the subject took $96.00 from the register.  It is unknown if the subject fled from the scene by foot or vehicle.  MPD has an ACTIVE ROBBERY FIRST DEGREE WARRANT on this suspect for an additional unrelated robbery where a knife was used as well.

Robbery in Semmes caught on camera

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

On May 14, 2012, at approximately 11:00 pm, Mobile County Sheriff’s Office was called to 7790 Moffett Road in Semmes, Alabama for an armed robbery.  A white male entered the Circle K armed with a knife and demanded money from the cash register.  The clerk opened the cash register and the suspect took ninety-six dollars and the clerk’s cell phone.  It is not known whether the suspect was on foot or fled in a vehicle.  If anyone can identify this person in the video or has any information about this robbery, please contact the MOBILE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE 574-8633.  You may also go to our website www.mobileso.com and click on CRIME TIPS.

One Monk beats another Monk to death

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Mobile County Sheriff’s Office was called to the BUDDHIST TEMPLE at 10323 BOE ROAD today, May 11, 2012 for a homicide.  Deputies arrived at the Temple at approximately 12:00 noon.  The murder occurred inside the Temple.  There was an apparent altercation between two Monks.  One beat the other to death (in the head) with a blunt object.  The victim is CHAIWAT MALEECHATE – AGE 45.  The suspect is VERN PHDSAMAY – AGE 32.  The suspect is in route to Mobile Metro Jail and will be charged with Murder.

There is no additional information at this time.  When we get additional information, we will release through email and on our website.

SUSPECT’S DESCRIPTION:  A WHITE/MALE, 40-50 years of age, over 200 lbs.,  brownish hair and beard (Beard has some Gray) pale looking face, over all dirty appearance, yellowish teeth,  wearing a black hat with two converging letter “C” (one red and the other white on a black background).  The victim noted the smell of alcoholic beverage and cigarette smoke from the cab area.  This subject has been seen on occasion in the company of another white male 30’s, who was the passenger.

 

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION:  1990-1993 White Chevrolet C1500 (Full Side Pickup Truck / Not an Extended Cab).  The following is a description given by witnesses;  dented and dirty with faded looking white paint with no clear coat sealer,  old dirty looking tires, gray primer patches on driver’s side of vehicle (driver’s door below door handle and on truck bed between front door and rear wheel), a dent on the passenger’s door, non-tinted windows, gray lettering in the lower corner of the rear window passenger’s side, tail gate in the down position, and a crack on the passenger side door window.  Interior was described as leather colored tan and gray with tape covering tears on the seats.  Beer bottles were seen on the seats, floorboard, and in the truck bed.  No tag information available at this time.

 

INCIDENT:  Suspect(s) were observed in the area of Opal Drive, Emerald East, Gem and Gold Drive (Mobile) attempting to get female children to get into the above described vehicle and leave.  Subjects have been seen generally during the after school hours from 2:30 pm until around 7:00 pm during the weekdays and weekends (Sunday).  Children are out at bus stops as early as 06:15 am on Emerald East at Gem and Gold Drive.  When approached by parents, these subjects have fled from the scene.
