Two men stab another man over pit bull

On Tuesday evening, February 5, 2013, MIKE JARMAN and COREY WEAVER were arrested for Assault 1st.  The Victim, JOHN BLISS, was stabbed several times by JARMAN AND WEAVER over a dispute about JARMAN’S dog.  Hours before MOBILE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE received the stabbing call, JARMAN had contacted MCSO to file a compliant on BLISS for allegedly stealing his pit bull.  JOHN BLISS came to JARMAN’S HOUSE on 10240 John Shinn Road, to visit his girlfriend and their children.  JARMAN and WEAVER stab BLISS several times in the back and on his arms.

BLISS was taken to an area hospital were he is listed in critical condition.  JARMAN and WEAVER were taken to Metro Jail and charged with ASSAULT 1st.

MCSO is looking for TOMMY LEON GOLEMAN

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

 

MOBILE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE is looking for TOMMY LEON GOLEMAN.     GOLEMAN is wanted for questioning with regards to multiple vehicle thefts and burglaries that occurred within Grand Bay, Irvington, and Coden.  He currently has (4) active felony warrants and (3) active misdemeanor warrants for his arrest.   GOLEMAN is facing prison time on recent felony probation revocations.

Two females arrested for receiving stolen property and kidnapping 2nd

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

 

Earlier this afternoon, January 28, 2013, Mobile County Sheriff’s Office Special Operation’s Units stopped a vehicle speeding on I-10 east bound. The vehicle was occupied by two black females and two small children (ages 3 and 4).
During the stop, Special Operations Deputies discovered that the adult females were shop lifting in Gautier, Mississippi and possessed a large amount of stolen clothes.
The two females and children were transported to the South-Side Substation and interviewed. During the interview it was discovered that one of the females worked for a day care in Mobile and they had taken the children from the daycare to accompany them on the shoplifting spree. Neither of the females are related to the children, nor did they have permission from the parents to take the children from the daycare.
The daycare is Kristina’s Kastle located at 2422 Norton Lane in Mobile.
Both subjects were charged with Receiving Stolen Property 2nd Degree and two counts each of Kidnapping 2nd Degree.

MCSO ARREST SUSPECT AFTER DRIVE BY SHOOTING

Today, January 27, 2013, MOBILE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE responded to 1080 Red Fox Road on a report of one shot.  MCSO found RONALD BYRD (63YOA) shot in the abdomen.  BYRD was air lifted to USA Medical Center for trreatment.  BYRD told Deputies that JEFFREY SULLIVAN (10/12/60) shot him.

Witnesses at the scene described the shooter as JEFFREY SULLIVAN and that he was driving a red truck.  MCSO Patrol saw the truck on HWY 96 and detained him.  JEFFREY SULLIVAN’S brother, HAROLD SULLIVAN (11/20/57) was also in the vehicle.  A .380 was recovered from the vehicle and a .380 shell casing was found at the scene where the shooting occurred.

JEFFREY SULLIVAN and HAROLD SULLIVAN were interviewed at CITRONELLE PD.  HAROLD stated that his brother, JEFFREY shot BYRD over a dispute about a girlfriend.  JEFFREY SULLIVAN refused to speak with Detectives.

JEFFREY SULLIVAN was arrested for assult 1st, his brother HAROLD was released.

SHOOTING IN ST. ELMO

 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

 

On January 26, 2013, at approximately 11:45,  The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office responded to 7275 Half Mile Road for a report of a shooting.  When Deputies arrived at the scene, they found CHARLES PENDEGRASS (04/07/1985) with a shot in the lower abdomen by NORMAN SMITH (05/20/1981).   SMITH lives at the above address with JAMIE PARMER, who is the mother of PENDEGRASS’ daughter.

 

SMITH told Deputies that PENDEGRASS came to the above address demanding to see his daughter.  SMITH told PENDEGRASS to leave several times but PENDEGRASS refused.  SMITH grabbed a 12-gauge shotgun leaning by the door and the two began to fight over the gun.   After a brief struggle, SMITH fired into the abdomen of PENDEGRASS.

 

JAMIE PARMER has several documented cases with MCSO involving harassment and physical violence from PENDEGRASS.  The case will be turned over to the Grand Jury.

PENDEGRASS is listed in stable condition.
