On December 19, 2013, Mobile County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a fire that was located in a large section of the woods on HWY 188 at Heron Bay Loop. Kevin Quallls, Alabama Port Volunteer Fire Department, says that his Fire Department has been called to the area everyday this week in reference to small fires being deliberately set. A white male on a four wheeler has been seen at one of the fire locations. As firefighters tried to approach the male he fled the scene.
