The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office and the US Marshalls arrested LARRONE NEKIL BYRD today, November 15, 2011. MCSO received an anonymous tip about the whereabouts of BYRD. The arrest took place at a residence on West Grant Street in Chickasaw, Alabama, at 10:00 am this morning. BYRD had been living at the residence with a relative.
At the time of his arrest LARRONE BYRD had 7 outstanding warrants from various agencies. Two of the warrants were for probation revocation, three were traffic violations, an assualt 1st and obstructing justice. Prichard, Alabama State Troppers and Mobile County Sheriff’s Office were the agencies who issued the warrants.
Today, MCSO Deputies charged BYRD with trafficking cocaine, use/possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana 2nd. The street value of the cocaine found at the residence was approximately $2500.00. Three handguns were also found inside the residence. One of the guns was stolen from a Mobile Police case.
